Fall Session Runs for the Month of September. Available for Junior StarSkate, StarSkate 2 -5 and StarSkate 6 – Gold only.
FWinter Progam Runs from October to end of March. Available for all Skater Categories.
All Skaters must pay the Skate Canada Fee of $65.00 per year.

PreCanSkate (Learn to Skate)
Overview
Our Pre-CanSkate program is our learn to skate entry level program for first time skaters ages 3-4 with no skating experience. It is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. The Pre-CanSkate program runs along side our flagship CanSkate Program.
Our program consisit of a 15 min off Ice Warm up and 30 min ice time.
No parents allowed on the ice.
Additional Fees are applied when a skater moves up to Canskate.

Canskate (Learn to Skate)
Overview
Our Canskate program is for beginners, children 5+ up to adults, as well as for those wishing to improve their basic skills whether their focus be for figure skating, hockey, speed skating or just skating for fun.
CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on Sport Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CanSkate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity. Our program consisits of a 45 min group lesson.

PreStarSkate
Overview
Our Pre-Starskate program is a continuation of the CanSkate program (Stages 4-6) geared to skaters looking for an introduction to the sport of Figure Skating. In the PreStar program skaters will learn a variety of introductory figure skating elements including Turns, Jumps, Spins, and Field Moves.
Our program consists of a 45 min group lesson. We recommand 2 days a week for this program. Additional fees will be applied when skater moves to Jr. Starskate group.
Bingo Bond of $60.00 is added to each Winter skater registration fee. Bingo Bond is returned after one, 4 hour Bingo Volunteer shift is completed.

Junior StarSkate - Star 1 and 2
Our Junior StarSkate Group program is our entry level StarSkate Program. This program is designed for skaters working on their Star 1and 2 Skills, Dance, and FreeSkate. The Junior StarSkate Group includes a 45 minute group lesson. Skaters in the Junior StarSkate group are not required to work with a private coach; however a private coach is strongly recommended. Please contact the club or one of our coaches to arrange lessons.
We highly recommend a 2 day package to ensure the skater’s progress.
Two day package requires a private coach.
Bingo Bond of $120 is added to each Winter skater registration fee for each registered day. Bingo Bond is returned after four, 4 hour Bingo Volunteer shifts are completed.

The STARSkate program consists of figure skating skills in four areas – Skating Skills, Ice Dance, Free Skate and Artistic. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner.
Skaters have the opportunity to participate in Skate Canada Assessments through a nationally standardized program. Skaters can complete assessments from Star 1-Gold in all four disciplines.
The program consist of a 15 min stroking lesson, and a private coach is required, each session is at least 1 hr in length. Coaching fees are paid directly to the coach. We recommend a 2 day package to ensure the skater’s progress.
Bingo Bond of $240.00 is added to each Winter skater registration fee. Bingo Bond is returned after four, 4 hour Bingo Volunteer shift is completed.
